Thank you, Mayfaire!

It was a hot one, but we had a blast!

I just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone that came out to visit me and to my new collectors.

It was so wonderful meeting all of you. I loved hearing your stories and sharing the stories behind my art with you.

I just adore cities with character and charm, and Lakeland certainly wasn’t lacking in either.

The Polk Museum of Art and the city of Lakeland put on a fantastic show with the best artist hospitality I’ve seen yet.

The kickoff block party on Bay St. was phenomenal and the most fun welcome party an artist could ask for. Even my husband had a great time, and he’s so not a party person! Kudos to the museum and Tony’s Studio B for an amazing community event.

The people of Lakeland were fantastically friendly, and I’m so happy that my art has found new homes there.

It’s a gorgeous town with lots of history. It even has National Landmark status as the largest single-site collection of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture in the world. (You know I geeked out!)

Our hotel, The Terrace, was really charming and historic with an outstanding staff, as well.

If you haven’t been, I highly recommend it.

Hopefully I’ll see you sooner than next year, Lakeland! 😉
