This piece is based on a cabinet card photo of La Goulue, aka Louise Weber, c. 1890, and inspired by palettes and scenery from Toulouse-Lautrec’s work. This pastel painting was exhibited in the Francophile 1st Thursday event at the Orlando Museum of Art.
